Respiratory Therapy licensees have to meet continuing education requirements in order to maintain their licenses with the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy. The Board has partnered with CE Broker to provide a comprehensive resource for logging and reporting your continuing education credits. Each respiratory therapist licensed by the Board shall complete twenty-four (24) contact hours of continuing education over the two-year licensure period with no more than 12 of those contact hours being self-study (non-traditional).
